Users who you appoint administrator privileges have complete control of all of your content. They can add, remove or edit content at their leisure and all changes are available to your department immediately.
The app is available across iOS, Android and desktop browsers. Changes to your content can be made via the web portal.
In accordance with NHS best practice guidelines, all of the data is stored in ‘The Cloud’. In our case, data is stored in a London based Google Cloud data centre where it is secured using the highest levels of encryption available.
Absolutely. Your data is encrypted whilst stored in the cloud, during transit, and whilst stored on your mobile devices. All of our systems and processes are compliant with the NHS Data Protection and Security Toolkit (DPST) and undergo annual penetration and security testing by independent health information systems security experts – Our last test received the highest possible assurance scores!

Yes, the app offers an offline mode that supports access to guidelines and learning content. Patient SMS functions and electronic referrals do require that the device is online, though.
From our perspective; anything is possible. Our team of qualified software engineers may be small, but they are also senior NHS clinicians with years of experience in NHS emergency departments. They have a track record of providing clinician centred solutions. We can integrate the Emergency Department App with nearly any clinical or data system and are likely to be limited only by the functionality of the other platform.
